How the event works

Pre event
18:00 News and views 3 x 15-minute introductory addresses. There will be one or two presentations that will combine:

  1. An insight into one aspect of the climate change challenges facing business; and
  2. A view on the latest news and developments.

These talks combine news updates and insights and are not necessarily intended to inform the discussion in the round tables, 1-to-1 meetings or networking.

Round table
18:45 Round Table - 30-minute round table discussion - choose to sit on one of 13 tables. Each table will have a chair and a list of topics organised in advance.

A brief introduction will be followed by a discussion – this discussion may be continued online or later in the evening. A write up will be submitted to the web based network. Each round table will explore low carbon issues relating to the following sectors, issues and challenges. We are starting with the following 10 round tables, but this will evolve and you are welcome to propose new tables.

For the time being please have a look at a list of attendees on the network. And then send a message to anyone you would like to meet. Please note that not all attendees will be on the network – we’re trying to overcome that too.ul dialogue and a chance to meet people you might not otherwise come across.

Green Monday will be an event for all 2degrees members. If you are not an existing 2degrees member you will be able to join The Green Monday Network on 2degrees at zero cost and benefit from free 3 months membership.

Who is 2degrees?
